Oz-en-Oisans is located at 1350 metres altitude and is one of the ski stations in the "Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine Ski" ski area. Novice skiers can practise in peace and quiet on some ski slopes, ski lifts and on the free ski carpet in the village. All this can be done under the professional guidance of an ESF monitor. The ski school is 100m from the apartment. Children between 3 and 6 years old can go to the Piou-Piou Ski Club or childcare.
The experienced skier or hiker can access the higher area "Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine Ski" (Vaujany/Alpe d'Huez) via two cable lifts near the apartment.

The superbly maintained domain "Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine Ski" consists of 67 ski lifts, 1053 ski canons and 250 km of ski runs for all levels.
The highest slopes are at Pic Blanc at 3330 metres. From here, you can do 4 breathtaking runs of more than 2,000 metres altitude difference each. However, a truly unique experience is obtained when you descend the Sarenne, the longest slope in the world and enjoy 16 km of challenge and skiing fun. Or do you prefer the famous Tunnel?
You can ski from "Les Grandes Rousses" all the way to the centre of Oz and even to the foot of the flat.
But a walk along the lakes between Poutran and Alpette is also an unforgettable experience.
