Oz is a sunny mountain village located at 1350 metres altitude in the heart of "Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine Ski". The village consists mainly of small wooden residences surrounded by pine forests. You will enjoy stunning views of the Grandes Rousses massif.
The atmospheric centre of Oz is completely traffic-free. Which immediately makes Oz the ideal place for people who love a quiet, intimate atmosphere. Oz is also a true paradise for children.
Moreover, all shops (supermarket, bakery, restaurants, bars...) are within walking distance, which makes the car unnecessary.
From Allemond, you can take the "Eau d'Olle Express" which takes you from the valley to just outside the flat in 10 minutes. Bicycles can also join the gondola lift.

Two cable lifts depart from Oz. These take you in winter to the ski area "Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine Ski" which also includes Alpe d'Huez, Auris en Oisans, La Garde, Le Freney d'Oisans, Oz en Oisans, Vaujany and Villard-Reculas. 250km of slopes, 67 ski lifts and 1053 ski canons ensure guaranteed skiing fun. After which you simply ski back to the foot of your flat.
During the summer months, the cable lifts take you up for a beautiful hike or mountain bike ride in the mountains. By the way, you can have a great time here on no less than 250 km of marked trails.
And all this just 55 km or an hour's drive from Grenoble.
